SAFR Standards & Responsibility

  • SAFR Personnel shall perform their duties without hindrance and to the fullest extent of their ability in all circumstances and situations.

  • SAFR Personnel are expected to use appropriate languages and behavior when interacting with their colleagues and the public. The use of any language or behavior that is offensive or likely to cause offense is not permitted and not to be seen.

  • SAFR Personnel are expected to act with integrity, professionalism and remain respectable and ensure they are open & truthful with their dealings with the public and all colleagues, so that confidence in the department is secured and maintained.

  • SAFR Personnel are to remain receptive to all constructive criticism when performance that falls below the standards set out has been noted, and when general areas of improvement have been identified.

  • SAFR Personnel are expected to render assistance and administer aid to any and all persons that request such, and should utilize their knowledge on the most appropriate assistance and aid to provide based on the circumstances.

  • SAFR Personnel must maintain a clear record of criminal convictions during employment, with any conviction opening personnel up to reviewal from the Office of the Chief regarding their conviction.

  • SAFR Personnel are restricted to performing actions only realistic to what would be carried out in real life. Failure to adhere to this can result in both SAFR disciplinary actions, and potentially SADRP Moderation action.
