Leave of Absence Policy

SAFR Personnel who intend to stay inactive for a period exceeding 14 days may submit an LOA request

LOA requests shall not be denied by any SAFR Personnel

LOA requests need only provide an estimated time for the duration of LOA

LOA requests need not provide a reason for the LOA if it may make the individual uncomfortable

SAFR Heads reserve the rights to terminate SAFR Personnel on LOA if LOA abuse is suspected

Reinstatement of SAFR Personnel terminated for LOA abuse is decided by SAFR Heads

SAFR Heads reserve the right to demote SAFR Personnel for extended periods of absence
