Equipment Policies

All SAFR Personnel shall have available to them in vehicles:

  • Flares - For the assistance of landing airborne assistance (Angel/LEO Air Units)

  • Fire Extinguisher

  • Axe

  • Crowbar

  • Flashlight

SAFR Personnel are not permitted to carry firearms on their person, or in their apparatus at any point

  • SAFR Fire Marshal Division Personnel are permitted to carry a handgun (pistol), however this must be secured on their person, or locked safely inside of their apparatus.
